Our School Extension: Getting Ready for Change
As we prepare for the exciting development of our school extension, we have created two interactive social stories to help our pupils understand the changes that will be taking place around school.
There are two versions available: one for primary pupils and one for secondary pupils. Both stories explain what to expect when the building work begins, including changes to the school environment, increased noise, building work, fencing and playground access. They have been designed to help pupils feel prepared, safe and supported throughout the process.
Both stories include a Read to Me feature, allowing pupils to listen to the story as they follow along.
We hope these resources will help our pupils feel more confident about the changes ahead as we look forward to our growing school and the exciting new spaces to come.
