Numeracy Week 2-6 June

Numeracy week was a great success with the whole school taking part in a Numeracy

Scavenger Hunt and ' Bing Bong Bingo' where learners had the chance to win amazing prizes, including vouchers for Salty Cow milkshakes, passes for Bonkerz soft play, a choice from a range of soft toys, vouchers for the Boathouse Climbing Centre, the Big Wheel on the Pier, Venue Cymru theatre vouchers, a bubble travel kit from Dr Ziggs… and lots more!

The week was a fantastic opportunity for learners to explore and apply their maths and numeracy skills through a wide range of engaging, practical activities.

Numeracy Week Scavenger Hunt

Throughout the week, learners took part in experiences designed to show how numeracy connects to everyday life: from problem solving and play-based learning to creative and cross-curricular challenges. Interactive maths games and challenges were tackled and even The Daily Mile turned mathematical! 

Wrapping up the week in style, staff and learners were invited to come to school wearing clothes with a numeracy theme. Thank you to everyone who took part, we had lots of amazing creations with numbers, shapes and patterns!
