Last week, a very excited group of pupils from Ysgol Y Gogarth headed off to the Nant BH outdoor centre for a few days of adventure, fresh air, and muddy boots! From the moment we arrived, everyone was up for an adventure and ready to take on whatever challenges came their way.
Over the course of the trip, pupils got stuck into all sorts of outdoor activities — from water to land based, exploring the beautiful countryside around the centre. For many, it was a chance to try something completely new, and the confidence and smiles seen throughout the week were absolutely fantastic. There were plenty of laughs, lots of cheering each other on, and maybe just a little bit of splashing around in the water!
Evenings were just as fun, with games, hot chocolate, and time to unwind together after busy days outdoors. It was lovely to see everyone supporting their friends, showing independence, and making memories.
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the Mr Morgan Fund, whose generous support helped make this trip possible. Thanks to the fund, our pupils were able to experience a brilliant outdoor adventure that encouraged teamwork, resilience, and confidence-building in the most enjoyable way.
A massive well done to all our pupils for their enthusiasm and brilliant behaviour — you did Ysgol Y Gogarth proud!
