Red Nose Day at Ysgol y Gogarth: A Student Council Success

Red Nose Day brought a wave of excitement to Ysgol y Gogarth, and this year, it was the student council leading the charge. With creativity and enthusiasm, they organised a day filled with fun and fundraising for a good cause.

Students were invited to ditch their usual uniforms and embrace the wacky side of fashion, sporting colourful outfits and wild hairstyles.

One of the main attractions of the day was the student council-run café, where teas, coffees, and homemade cakes were served. Generously donated by our staff and parents, these treats added to the atmosphere and helped raise funds for charity.

Among the highlights was Kerrie Hopwood's stunning cake, earning her well-deserved praise for the best-decorated cake. Additionally, Dosbarth Tal-Y-Fan and Dosbarth Peris shared victory in the staff/student quiz, showcasing their knowledge and teamwork.

As the day came to a close, there was a sense of pride and accomplishment. The student council had not only organised a day of fun but had also made a meaningful contribution to a worthy cause. Well done to the student council and everyone involved for their hard work and dedication!
