We recognize that flexibility in terms of balance within the curriculum is important to ensure relevance for our individual pupils. Therefore, not all our pupils will experience all aspects of the curriculum all of the time. ‘Balance’ reflects the needs of pupils at differing stages of their development. For example, pupils in our nursery will benefit from periods of exploratory play within the context of our Foundation Phase Curriculum while students in our Tertiary Phase will receive a modular curriculum emphasizing practical community-based activities, including, sex education, careers guidance, work experience and link courses.
